How are you? Really? If not so great, it’s alright. Really.

In case it’s been awhile since someone asked you, How are you doing?

You say, “Fine.” Do you mean Aerosmith’s meaning, “F*&%ed up Insecure Neurotic Emotional” ?

That’s still alright.

You can’t be happy every minute.

There are days when getting out of bed is a Herculean task. Bravo if you were able to. Moving Mount Everest seems easier than moving yourself from your bedding.

If you’re not doing so well, maybe you need more rest. (If it lasts more than 3 three days, please seek help. There’s no shame in it.)

Have you ever told yourself one of the following statements:

“It’s not that bad.”

“It’s all in your head.”

“Somebody has it worse than you.”

While those statements could be true, at times you are having an absolute shit day/week/month/year. That can be true as well. That does not make you a bad person.

It does not mean you are weak. Give yourself some credit and some grace.

You’re human. You’re allowed to have bad days. Despite what society or your friends and family say. (They probably don’t know how to deal with people who are going through some stuff.)
